Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes in the El Paso area. You will support the supervising OT with ADL training, safety coaching, and home exercise programs.

The role offers a flexible schedule, autonomy in the field, and meaningful patient care with consistent patient loads. Texas COTA license required and home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license required
• Home health experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and safety
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising OT
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
