Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the PH Family First division in the metro Atlanta market. The CNA will assist patients with personal hygiene, comfort care, and daily activities, while reporting progress and changes to supervisors.

The role requires an active CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. Strong communication and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and active CNA certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare.
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient.
• Obtain vital signs of patient(s) assigned.
• Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of services.
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisory personnel.
• Observe and report any changes in condition, including skin integrity.
• Provide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders services.
• Assist with patient transfer, ambulation, and exercise.
• Provide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair care.
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Coordinate care with agency RN Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and current records of visits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
