Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs assist with daily care in clients' homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role emphasizes one-on-one attention, independence, and flexible scheduling with a supportive care team. Opportunities for advancement exist (CRMA, CNA-M, LPN). Mileage reimbursement applies where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Measure and observe vital signs and report concerns.
• Support daily care tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, meals.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and encourage independence.
• Monitor for changes in condition and escalate appropriately.
• Identify safety risks and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete documentation accurately and on schedule.
