Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking part-time in-home caregivers to support clients in south Minneapolis and nearby areas. Shifts from 6am-12pm, 12-5pm, or 5-10pm are typical, with tasks including personal cares, transfers, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in hands-on settings (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital).
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients' lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communicate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
