Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety in Safford is hiring Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to protect children, support families, and coordinate services in the field. You’ll assess safety, conduct home interviews, develop case plans, and work with courts and providers to ensure placement needs are met.

This full-time, on-site role requires driving, completing a 22-week CORE training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree earned from an institution accredited or 4 years as Case Aide.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Complete 22 weeks of in-person classroom and field training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect.
• Conduct interviews and assess child safety.
• Work with families in homes and in the community.
• Coordinate services and develop case plans.
• Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports.
• Transport children and support placement needs.
• Manage cases within the assigned region.
• Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies.
