Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS) in Joplin, MO is seeking a Case Manager/Social Worker to coordinate and provide client-centered care in home or virtual settings. This full-time role supports families across Missouri, with a focus on safety, stability, and development for children.

The position requires a degree in Social Work or related field, a valid driver’s license, and preferred experience in child welfare.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to dependable transportation and auto insurance.
• Preferred two years’ experience in child welfare.
• Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered.
• Provide case management, parenting education, community resource referral, parent-child activities, and child development education.
• Create a service plan in conjunction with the client to develop goals and objectives that align with the client’s wishes.
• Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan face to face in home or virtually.
• Respond to client’s crisis situations within program parameters in a timely manner according to program protocols.
