Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking a Case Manager/Parent Coach to work with families involved with ODHS Child Welfare. You will provide in-home and community-based coaching, education, and interventions to promote child safety and family well-being.

You'll collaborate with ODHS caseworkers and partners, maintain timely reports, and adapt to flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be neat, organized, and accurate, with the ability to multitask.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in service delivery.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home or community-based parent coaching and education to families.
• Assess parental capacities related to child safety and well-being.
• Develop goals with ODHS Child Welfare in partnership with clients.
• Maintain records and communicate progress both orally and in writing.
• Coordinate services from multiple agencies and advocate for needs.
• Deliver parenting groups and crisis support as needed.
