Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Aides to work with adults with disabilities in a Delmont, PA residential home setting. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, grooming, bathing, and transportation to appointments in a supportive, respectful environment.

No experience required and paid training is provided. Full-time roles with day, afternoon, or overnight shifts are available, plus part-time options with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities (dressing, meals, bathing).
• Provide transportation to appointments and accompany to activities.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean living environment.
• Administer medications as trained and directed.
• Support residents with community outings and organized activities.

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in Delmont, PA.

Direct Care Aides (In Home Caregivers)

Assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Daylight / Morning shift - 7 am to 3 pm, OREvenings 3 pm to 11 pm OR Overnight Shifts 11 pm to 7 am.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
