Job summary
Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in Hopkins surrounding areas including Minnetonka, Wayzata, Hopkins, Eden Prairie, and Plymouth. As a Caregiver, you will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, provide companionship, help with meals and light housekeeping, transport to appointments, and follow care plans while documenting tasks via a smartphone.
We offer competitive pay ($18-$21/hour), weekend differential, PTO, 401(k), mileage reimbursement, and 24/7
Qualifications
- Experience as a caregiver for adults or nursing assistance training (or equivalent).
- Must pass a background check.
- Able to read, comprehend and clearly speak English.
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings.
- Follow care plans and document tasks.
