Job summary

Jewish Family and Children’s Services is urgently hiring in-home caregivers in Palo Alto, California. Join our team to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors by providing personal care, companionship, and assistance in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Pay Range: $21.50- $29.50 per hour for hourly shifts

Job Type: Part Time & Full Time available

Shift and Schedule: 4 hour, 8 hour, & weekend shifts available (we will work with your schedule!)

What are the Qualifications?

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have weekend availability
• Reliable transportation is required
• Frequently required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Frequently required to push and pull 0 to 150+ pounds
• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and ability to be cooperative in fulfilling role obligations
• Ability to work independently, as well as function as a member of a Health Care Team
• Good observational skills and sound judgment
