Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across the Gresham area, including Sandy. Pay is $20–$21 per hour with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

Flexible scheduling and weekly pay help you balance life and work. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, light housework, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and providing companionship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs rarely.
• Must own a smartphone with app access.
• Pass state and national background checks.
• Able to transport clients in own vehicle.
• Able to complete required caregiver training.

Responsibilities

Pay: $20-$21 hr. depending on care given. Paid training and milage reimbursement Current Needs Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Most shifts start between 8am, 9am or 10am
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid driver\'s license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
