Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Oregon is seeking caregivers for day shifts, with pay$20–$21 per hour. We offer paid training and mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling.

Our Gresham Branch services Maywood, Hazelwood, Fairview, Troutdale, Boring, Sandy, Corbett and nearby areas to support client needs. Caregivers enjoy weekly pay, consistent hours and pay, 24/7 caregiver support, hands-on training, and client matching.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift 10–50 lb (rarely)
• Own a smartphone with mobile app access
• Pass state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in own vehicle
• Complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have valid driver's license, auto insurance, clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients to store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on client condition

Pay: $20-$21 hr. depending on care given.

Paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Needs:

Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Most shifts start between 8am, 9am or 10am
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
