Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients in their homes in Lansing, MI. Part-time or full-time positions are available; hours are typically 8 am–4 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift every other weekend.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Willing to drive client’s van and transport clients.
• Hoyer lift training or willingness to be trained.
• Catheterization experience or willingness to train.
• Non-smoker; no long or acrylic nails.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance including showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility to appointments, walks, and outings.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients for errands.
• Perform housekeeping and report incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities and meal assistance.
