Job summary

Hireology seeks an attentive personal care assistant in New Castle, PA to support daily living activities under supervision. You will assist with light housekeeping, nutrition, personal hygiene, feeding and dressing for clients, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Requirements include English fluency, CPR certification, background checks, and willingness to travel to consumer residences. Flexible schedule offered with benefits including dental and vision insurance and AFLAC.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct care experience or equivalent educational experience (preferred)
• Fluent in English—reading, writing and speaking (required)
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification (required)
• Successfully pass clearance and reference checks (required)
• Able to obtain 2 step TB test (required)
• Successfully pass a criminal background check (required)
• Valid Driver's License (preferred)

Compensation:

$11-$13/ hour (dependent upon level of experience)

Qualifications:

• Practices good hygiene and is neat in personal appearance (required)


• Fluent in English- reading, writing and speaking(required)


• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification(required)


• Successfully pass clearance and reference checks(required)


• Able to obtain 2 step TB test(required)


• Successfully pass a criminal background check(required)


• Valid Driver's License (preferred)

Functional Abilities:

• Is able to carry bundles upstairs weighing up to 10 pounds.


• Must be able to stoop and bend.


• Must be able to travel to prospective Consumer' s place of residence.


• Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.
