Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare, a CHAP-certified company established in 2010, seeks an in-home caregiver in Schaumburg, IL to provide attentive, compassionate support to clients at home. This role offers hourly and live-in options, with pay starting at $17.95 per hour.

You will help with personal care, meals, medications reminders, transportation, and light housekeeping, while ensuring a safe, respectful home environment. CNA preferred; 1 year caregiving experience desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• experience in caregiving especially with elderly clients is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable; compassionate; dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship; support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
• Gait belt or Hoyer Lift certified.
