Senior Helpers (US) is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support clients in their own homes, helping maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role emphasizes compassionate care, daily living assistance, companionship, and safety during activities throughout the day.

The position involves assisting with daily tasks, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Competenze

• Experience caring for elderly clients or similar settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with clients and families.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing client needs.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to maintain dignity and quality of life.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders as directed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changes.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to supervisors or families.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings

Requirements

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
