Job summary

American Veterans Group, an in-home care provider, seeks compassionate Care Professionals to support aging veterans and spouses. Caregivers build genuine relationships and deliver non-medical personal care to keep clients healthy and happy at home.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, ADL support, and reporting changes in health status. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours are required; bilingual applicants welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months paid caregiving experience (non-family) or be a CNA with an active HCA.
• Basic English communication skills required; bilingual/multilingual encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship.
• Provide one-on-one support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Observe and report changes in client health status and well-being.

American Veterans Group is a Veteran founded Home Care company that has been serving our community and taking care of Senior Military Veterans and surviving spouses for over 18 years. We are seeking for compassionate individuals that want to become a part of our team!

Our caregivers are Care Professionals. They provide an invaluable service to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and companionship.
• Provide one-on-one support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and other non-medical personal care needs.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition, health status, and overall well-being.

Applicant Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA and have an active HCA.
• Have a valid driver's license
• Flexible availability to work during care service hours
• Basic English communication skills required (bilingual/multilingual applicants encouraged)
• Able to meet all applicable compliance, licensing, and registration requirements
• Must have a compatible smartphone or tablet with the latest supported iOS or Android version
