Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC in Charles City, IA is hiring an In-Home Senior Caregiver to support seniors in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, monitor wellbeing, and communicate with the care team to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
