Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC in Northeast Iowa is seeking an In-Home Senior Caregiver to help older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, prepare meals, and support daily activities.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and excellent communication. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background and drug checks are required, along with at least a high school diploma and one year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and reliable with strong communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.

• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
