Job summary

A Place at Home - Inland Empire West is seeking caring, compassionate in-home caregivers to join our team. We are hiring for In-Home Caregiver roles to provide compassionate caregiving, elderly care, and senior care services to clients in the Hemet area.

As a caregiver, you will deliver personal care, medication support, companionship, and mobility assistance, while cultivating trust with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Registered with the Guardian Registry.
• Must have a current, valid TB test.
• Must provide professional references that verify previous caregiving work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and professional in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care, including personal care, medication management, and companionship.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment, promoting the comfort, independence, and dignity of our clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, enabling seniors to remain engaged and active in their communities.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop personalized care plans that address the specific needs and preferences of each client.
• Previous experience as an in-home caregiver or a genuine passion for providing compassionate care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Knowledge and understanding of elderly care, senior care, and patient care principles.
• Reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the unique needs of each client.
