Job summary

Right at Home Simi Valley is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support for seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living. Flexible shifts at various hours and immediate-start opportunities are available for qualified applicants serving clients in Moorpark, Simi Valley, and Camarillo.

As a caregiver, you help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home, with training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must read and speak English.
Must pass a background check.
Must provide a negative TB test or clear chest X-ray.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
One year of caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training and support are provided.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and friendly conversation.
Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
Support clients with routine daily activities and personal care needs, as appropriate.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility.
Provide transportation or accompaniment to errands and appointments when needed.
Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the appropriate team member.
Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive home environment.
