Job summary

Right at Home Simi Valley is seeking dependable caregivers and home care aides to support seniors in Moorpark and surrounding areas. You will enjoy meaningful work with flexible shifts, weekly pay, and a supportive team behind you.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, personal care support, and transportation assistance as needed. Training is provided, and a background check with TB screening is required to start.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must read and speak English.
• Must provide a negative TB test or clear chest X-ray.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• One year of caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and friendly conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Support routine daily activities and personal care needs.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility.
• Provide transportation or accompaniment to errands and appointments as needed.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the team.
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive home environment.
