The Caregiver role focuses on non-medical in-home care per the Client Service Plan, including wellness checks and documentation across shifts Sunday–Saturday. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License.
• Strong communication skills – both oral and written.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
• Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Honesty and integrity in all interactions.
• Willingness to attend training sessions provided by referring agencies and/or the Tennessee MHDD.

Responsibilities

• Client wellness checks to ensure well-being.
• Assist clients with admission documents as needed.
• Train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home.
• Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients.
• Submit required documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to the individual service plan for each recipient.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client records and information unless authorized by written consent.
• Immediately report any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities and your supervisor.
