Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required; paid training including CPR provided.
• Commitment to following health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping duties and meal preparation with attention to dietary restrictions.
• A respectful and compassionate attitude with excellent bedside manner.
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina to perform required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Reliable transportation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medications punctually.
• Assist clients with mobility inside the home and outdoors.
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and respect.
• Support clients in completing recommended exercises to promote health.
• Accompany clients on shopping trips or run errands as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation.
• Report unusual occurrences promptly to office staff and family.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accurately document days and hours worked on agency care sheets.
