Visiting Angels Longview is hiring In Home Caregivers to serve clients across the East Texas area, including Henderson. This role supports wellness per custom care plans with compassionate, steady care.

You will help with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, medications reminders, and safe mobility, while building trust and providing friendly companionship. We offer flexible shifts (FT/PT, 8/10/12 hour options, PRN) and opportunities for advanced training in dementia and

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to visit client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and errands at home and during appointments.
