Job summary

Impact Home Health in Hesston, KS is urgently hiring a Non-Medical Attendant Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support, helping clients stay safe, dignified, and as independent as possible.

The role includes personal care, mobility help, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, with in-home visits, flexible day shifts, and local travel. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.00 per hour and full-time hours are available, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional caregiving, direct-care, home health, personal care, or closely related experience.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting assistance, and brief changing as authorized in the client’s care plan.
• Assist clients with safe mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using proper body mechanics, gait belts, lifts, and other approved equipment as trained.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and other approved activities that support a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support while honoring each client’s dignity, choices, culture, and routines.
• Follow all client-care instructions, infection-control practices, and safety procedures; immediately report accidents, injuries, hazards, or changes in the client environment.
• Observe and promptly report changes in a client’s health, behavior, mood, mobility, appetite, safety, or overall well-being to the appropriate supervisor or nursing team.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely visit documentation in accordance with agency policy and applicable requirements.
• Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA expectations, client rights, and Impact Home Health policy.
