Qualifikationen

• Enjoy caring for others.

• Reliable and strong work history.
• Minimum of one year professional experience working with seniors (in-home care, memory care, hospital and rehab could apply).

Aufgaben

• Maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment within the client’s residence, including light cleaning.
• Provide personal care per Plan of Care (hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, transfers).
• Provide nutritional support as needed.
• Report changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with devices for activities of daily living (wheelchair, walker, Hoyer lift).
• Assist with prescribed ROM exercises.
• Teach household routines to family members.
• Measure intake and output of fluids; monitor vital signs as needed.
• Keep records of personal health care activities.
• Observe client appearance and behavior and report to agency staff.
• Prepare items to aid self-administration of medication; assist with self-administration.
• Abide by infection control policies (CDC guidelines).
• Follow agency policies and caregiver manuals.
• Perform other duties as trained for specific client.
