Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes around Tamaqua and surrounding communities.

You’ll build relationships with the person you’re supporting, help them stay safe, comfortable and independent at home, and enjoy flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual’s care plan
• Document the services you provide
