Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes around Muncy Valley, PA. You’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent with flexible scheduling and meaningful, community-based work.

No professional caregiving experience is required; if you are reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you about available cases and shifts.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
