Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout the surrounding communities. You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Flexible scheduling and both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with no prior caregiving experience required.

Qualifications

• Be kind, compassionate, and able to provide one-on-one non-medical care
• Must be reliable, patient and able to follow instructions
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for care
• No professional caregiving experience required, just dependability and a good work ethic

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
