Flat Irons Flex Care is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support clients in their homes with personalized care, companionship, and daily assistance. The role emphasizes compassionate, dependable service and meaningful relationship-building with clients and their families.

Candidates should be comfortable with lifting, mobility support, meal prep, and light housekeeping, while maintaining clear communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and empathetic nature.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the caregiving field.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Assist with medication reminders and medication management as prescribed.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Perform light housekeeping, errands, and other supportive tasks.
• Report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator or supervisor.
