Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for roles requiring travel).
• Able to pass a Criminal background check.
• Fingerprinted with MSDH.
• CPR certification is preferred or required.
• Minimum of 1 year of home health caregiving experience preferred.
• Internet-enabled mobile phone for documenting service delivery and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Meal preparation: prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Mobility assistance: help clients move safely within their homes or between locations, including transferring from beds, wheelchairs, or vehicles.
• Household tasks: perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Companionship: provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Monitoring: observe and report changes in clients’ health to family or supervisors.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of care provided and daily activities.
