Job summary

Personal Care Services Midsouth, LLC is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients across life stages. You will promote independence, safety, and well-being in clients' homes, delivering personalized care with empathy and integrity.

We train and support staff through comprehensive resources, ensuring caregivers feel prepared and valued as part of a dedicated team focused on respectful, one-to-one care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (for roles requiring travel).
• Able to pass a Criminal background check.
• Fingerprinted with MSDH.
• CPR certified.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a home healthcare caregiver or in a similar role - Preferred.
• Internet accessible mobile phone for documenting service delivery and tasks provided.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Meal preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Mobility assistance: Help clients move safely within their homes or between locations, including transferring from beds, wheelchairs, or vehicles.
• Household tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities, such as conversation, hobbies, or light exercise.
• Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to family members or supervisors promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and daily activities.
