Job summary

Right at Home Southern Oregon is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support seniors and adults in their own homes across the Rogue Valley, including Medford and surrounding communities. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and practical assistance while building trust and improving daily life for clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you build your confidence and succeed in your role.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with our office team.
