Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, independent caregivers to join our team as a PCA, HHA, CNA or those with no prior experience to deliver client-centered home health care.

You will perform essential personal care tasks, provide support with meals, mobility, and safety while maintaining strict documentation and adhering to care protocols. Flexible schedules and supportive team environment offered.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

Assist with client laundry as needed
Provide medication reminders
Ensure client safety
Report significant changes in the client’s condition directly to their supervisor
Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
Monitor and record client temperature
Assist client’s with ambulation
Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
Offer bathing assistance
Perform light housekeeping
Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
