Job summary

Altra Homecare Group seeks compassionate caregivers to join our team as PCA, HHA, CNA or those with no prior experience. You will provide essential personal care services to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, assistance with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal support, mobility help, and reporting any changes to the supervisor. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety.
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required.
• Monitor and record client temperature.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
