Job summary

No Worries Care is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in their own homes with dignity and respect. The role emphasizes person-centered care, companionship, and safety, including medication reminders and light housekeeping.

Experience in caregiving and a CNA or HCA credential is preferred, or willingness to obtain one. Flexible schedules and patient empathy are valued as core qualities for this role.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA or HCA credential preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of patient observation and reporting techniques.
• Experience working with elderly clients is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and reliability.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritional needs are met, including special dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping.
• Foster social engagement and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance.
• Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare providers or family members.
• Provide supportive care for geriatric clients, including those with age-related illnesses such as dementia, arthritis, or mobility impairments.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to ensure coordinated, personalized care.
