No Worries Care Tacoma is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support clients in their own homes. The role emphasizes empathy, professionalism, and person-centered care to improve daily living and well-being.

Preferred credentials include CNA or HCA (or willingness to obtain one) and at least one year of caregiving experience. Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, nursing homes, etc.).
• CNA or HCA credential preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with elderly clients is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritional needs are met, including special dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping.
• Foster social engagement and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance.
• Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare providers or family members.
• Provide supportive care for geriatric clients, including those with age-related illnesses such as dementia, arthritis, or mobility impairments.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to ensure coordinated, personalized care.
