Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Omaha, NE is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support clients in their own homes. You’ll assist with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, prepare meals, and help with transportation.

Join a team focused on companionship, safety, and following care plans. A high school diploma is required; a valid driver's license and background check are necessary. Prior caregiving is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation needs
• Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
