Job summary

Right at Home in Omaha, NE is seeking caregivers to support clients in their homes with a range of in-home care tasks. You will assist with mobility, daily living activities, meals, housekeeping, and companionship, while ensuring safety and comfort for clients.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and a valid driver's license with transportation. Prior caregiving experience is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with car insurance.
• Must pass a full employment background check.
• Must have prior caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home.
• Performing housekeeping activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, laundry, bed linens, bathroom cleaning.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/showering/dressing/shaving.
• Medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care.
• Companionship activities like reading, music, puzzles.
