Right at Home San Luis Obispo is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as an In-Home Caregiver. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support the wellbeing of clients in their own homes.

Your role includes helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to ensure clients remain safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude required.
• Reliable and punctual with good time management.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Support clients to maintain independence and quality of life.
