Job summary

Right at Home San Luis Obispo is hiring an In-Home Caregiver to assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain independence in their homes.

You will support with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while ensuring a safe and comforting environment. Previous caregiving experience and a valid driver’s license preferred, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, empathetic attitude essential.
• Reliable and punctual with home-visiting duties.
• Strong communication skills for clients and families.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Transport clients to appointments when needed and ensure safety at home.
