Job summary

Right at Home San Luis Obispo is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support clients in their own homes. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure clients’ well-being with respect for independence.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and occasional appointments. Prior caregiving experience is preferred; must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude required.
• Reliable and punctual with strong time-management.
• Good communication skills with clients and family.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age and meet driver’s license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Accompany clients to appointments and support autonomy.
