Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care in Escondido is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Attendant-Caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support. You will assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal planning, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed, ensuring comfort and safety in the client’s residence.

We offer weekly pay, flexible schedules, room for growth, and shifts ranging from 5 to 12 hours.

Qualifications

• Clearance Verified on the Home Care Aide Registry
• Current TB certificate
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents
• Completed liC 508 Criminal Record Statement
• Completed LIC 501 Personnel Record
• SOC 341A Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Suspected Abuse of Dependent Adults and Elders
• Current driver’s license
• Valid vehicle insurance coverage
• Minimum of five hours entry‑level training before client presence

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care including bathing, dressing, ambulation
• Provide medication reminders and light housekeeping
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, grooming and toileting support
• Transfer, positioning and mobility assistance
• Ensure safety and dignity while delivering care in client’s home
