Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
• Clearance verified on the Home Care Aide Registry (CA).
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate.
• Registered with state of CA and active HCA number.
• Completed LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
• Completed LIC 501 Personnel Record.
• Completed SOC 341A Statement Acknowledging Reporting Abuse.
• Minimum five hours entry-level orientation before client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care (bathing, dressing, ambulation).
• Provide mood-boosting companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping.
• Support with medication reminders and safe self-administration.
• Help with transfers, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Communicate client needs clearly and follow agency policies.
