Golden Poppy Caregiving in Sacramento is hiring a Personal Care Attendant to deliver non-medical in-home care. You will assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, grooming, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship in client homes and communities.

The position emphasizes compassionate, respectful service in line with agency policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Clearance on the Home Care Aide Registry is required.
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate.
• Valid I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
• Completed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508).
• Completed Personnel Record (LIC 501).
• Statement SOC 341A acknowledging report of abuse.
• Current driver’s license with insurance (if transporting).
• Minimum of five hours entry-level training prior to client presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility.
• Provide toileting, medication reminders, meal planning, and light housekeeping.
• Ensure client safety and comfort in home and community settings.
• Communicate care plan and document observations.
