Job summary

Senior Helpers of Waxhaw-Monroe is hiring compassionate caregivers (HHAs, PCAs, CNAs) to support seniors across Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Rowan counties with in-home care.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with meals and light housework, while following care plans and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Must pass background and Drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and support light household tasks.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' physical or cognitive condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow individualized care plans and company policies.
