Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our in-home care team in Metamora, IN and surrounding areas. You will provide essential support, companionship and daily living assistance to clients in their own homes, helping maintain comfort, safety and dignity.

Required responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders and health monitoring, with emphasis on confidentiality and empathetic communication. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to commute to client locations in Metamora, IN.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team to ensure consistent, compassionate care.
