Job summary

AFNB is seeking an In Home Care Worker in Winnsboro, LA to provide personal care and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and accompany clients to appointments while maintaining a safe home environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client homes. The role offers part-time daytime hours with competitive hourly pay and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and companionship.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Comfort with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Willingness to complete background checks and screenings.
• Ability to travel to client homes in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, etc.
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments
• Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly client environment
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across the service area
• Complete required in-service training upon hire and annually
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services provided
