Job summary

AFNB is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide at-home care across Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and South Carolina. The Jonesboro, LA area schedule includes full time, part time, PRN, and overnight shifts with a competitive hourly pay of $10.50.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and attending appointments with clients. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to travel to client homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of home care duties and safety protocols preferred.
• Ability to document care and report changes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and feeding as needed.
• Give medication reminders and accompany to appointments.
• Monitor health and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and proper safety equipment.
• Travel to patient homes within service area as required.
• Complete required training and ongoing competency assessments.
• Follow written care plans and document services provided.
